Brandon Jake Lira  suffers from a problem that happens often to talented musicians, which is that he occasionally finds himself swept up into a new band with little or no warning.  Such was the case with his introduction to the Star City Syndicate.  One fateful Wednesday evening, he attended a rehearsal with his music teacher and fellow County Combo bandmate Jon Simonoff.  He was later startled to discover that he was now part of the band.  A rising star in Ashland’s chorus program and a recent popular contestant of Aroostook’s Got Talent alongside fellow Syndicate member Cassidy Pelletier, Brandon and his tenor sax are a welcome addition to the group’s full horn sound.
