Kevin Kinsey is a former music educator who sustained thriving band programs in Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle for many years before leaving that vocation to enter a higher one – the ministry.  However, Kev “The Rev” Reverend Kinsey (his full adopted moniker, bestowed by a former bandmate) hasn’t wandered too far from his roots.  The former long-time conductor of the UMPI Community Band, he is currently the conductor of the Northern Maine Chamber Society Orchestra and a talented and powerful member of the Syndicate trumpet section, from whence he occasionally hassles his son, Syndicate trombonist Pat Kinsey.
